Acuta Knives Grear Review

A couple months back I scored a sweet deal via one of the Members Only sites I wrote about called OpenAirDeals.com. The deal let me pick up some sharpened knife blanks from Acuta Knives. My plan was to cord wrap them and use one as a Christmas Present for Josh (hence the post Christmas post haha). I was super happy with my purchase, the customer service was amazing, they really took care of me when there was a couple of issues. I would definitely recommend those guys as they are really nice and care about what they are doing.

They were also awesome enough to give me a coupon that I could share! It’s for a 15% discount on any purchase, the discount is valid  until 1/31/2012 with the coupon code “ZApple15”.

The first knife was a standard stainless steel hunting knife, I cord wrapped this in a black and green para-cord with some square knots at the end and gave this one to Josh for Christmas. This is a solid knife, sharp, with a great blade, Josh took some great pictures of it and really enjoys using it.

The second was a stainless steel skinner that I wrapped in orange nylon tether cord with some square knots at the end.

The third was a Damascus gut hook that I wrapped in red speckled para cord with nothing at end the.

These are some solid knifes, I give them a 4 out of 5 on the adventure scale and I highly recommend checking out Acuta Knives. http://www.thebigacuta.com/

Thanks Zac, great review. I like your choice in handles. I have seen some great Acuta knives made with exotic wood and G-10. Yours look really nice.

Great review and pictures and like the idea of the corded handle. I also own a couple of Acuta knives and they are awsome.
