A couple weeks ago our friends at BTB sunglasses gave us a couple pairs of sunglasses to review. They sell a wide range of sunglasses ranging from ballistic sunglasses to sports sunglasses for outdoor activities including hiking and other outdoor sports. What initially attracted me to these glasses was that they claimed the actual lenses could stand up to a shotgun blast from 25 feet away. I thought this was pretty difficult to believe as the glasses only cost around 40 dollars each, so I asked if I could put them to the test. The result is the below video.
After putting one pair of the sunglasses to the test I took the other on a small hike. The sunglasses had a foam inner lining that helped them to sit nicely on my face even during the up and downs of the hike. I am told that my head is slightly larger then normal so for the sunglasses to fit comfortably on me was a testament to the way they are made. They looked good and I liked the way they allowed me to be protected from the sun without darkening my vision.
BTB even has the option to private label their glasses if you want to give them out for an event or promotion and have your own companies logo on them. I would recommend these sunglasses to fans of the outdoors as they are affordable and strong. I mean they can hold up to two shotgun blasts so they should protect your eyes from whatever your daily activities throw at you.
