Loma Linda Holiday Classic 2010

1x1.trans Loma Linda Holiday Classic 2010I ratcheted up my running this last weekend by completing my first 15k in the 2010 Loma Linda Holiday Classic. Stringing together a 10k and a 15k gave me two good reasons to keep training and improving my pace and distance through the holidays. The most exciting part about this race for me was the results, I came in 11th overall but 1st in my division! I ran it in 1:04:47 which is a pace of 6:57, this was no easy course either, plenty of hills and it was early so it was cold too. This was a good race though, easy to get to, well organized and it was a good course though it did have a bit of overlap. My Dad ran the 15k as well and bested his goal and my mom hit up the 5k!

We had a great time and I am continuing to train and looking forward to some winter hiking as well, I am also looking for some half marathons that I can run so if you know of any coming up in Socal let me know!

Pretty impressive timing, especially considering it’s your first 15k! Great work.
